Venice needs no introduction, if you ask what the most
famous city in the world is, I am sure it will come right at the
top of the list.
The Royal borough of Greenwich is one of the 32 London boroughs, and out of the 32 it is one of the three Royal boroughs (the other two being Kingston Upon Thames, and the Royal borough of Kensington and Chelsea).
The Arena was built in the first half of the 1st century AD. It had as its initial function to be the stage of gladiators’ struggles.
Since its construction, they say it has never ceased to be used. It dad its history marked by sad and joyful events. According to historians, during the Middle Ages, the Arena de Verona served to burn 200 “heretics”, and it was also home to prostitutes for a few years. How cannot visit this so wonderful place.
This year marks the London Eye’s 20th birthday, which is quite impressive considering this iconic landmark was only supposed to be a temporary attraction (which funnily enough is exactly how the Eiffel Tower started out), and it is now the UK’s most popular paid attraction, with 3.75 million visitors a year.
